* Job requirement:

• Maintenance of safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures.

• Knowledge well on SB NC, PU technology in wood Furniture coating.

• Dependable formulation, modification, cost-out product and RM substitution based on requirement.

• Comprehension on processes of product development processing, research, testing by which results are produced. Learns to produce dependable data and pursue quality in products/ processes.

• Learns problem-solving/ decision making skills.

• Learns to manage own work through planning execution, analysis and documentation of results.

• Timely and accurate execution of product testing on production material.

• Support all AC business by timely and accurate execution of product formulations and testing.

• Resolution of problems relating to products and processed accomplished in a timely manner.

• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with those in line of work.

• Be instrumental in cost saving projects without losing the quality of the end product.

• Working with raw material suppliers & purchasing team for the evaluation of new raw materials for cost saving and / OR product quality improvement purposes.

• Primary understanding of usage of UV application equipment, completely know testing equipment, test method, and other related accessories to Furniture coating.

• Responsible for the life of the machines used at work, by proper handling & maintenances of the machines.

• Responsible for 5S - Housekeeping related at work area.

• Should be able to adapt to the changes in the organization.

• Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

• Team work.

* Education requirement

• University graduation in chemistry/ Polymer engineering/ Organic chemistry.

• Good communication in English or Chinese.

* Knowledge & Experience

• At least 03 years work experience in Chemist

(Preferred having degree related to Polymer / chemical with knowledge about Solvent Borne coating)
